Third Wave Churches
In Micronesia

You may already have a Third Wave church on your island. Because certain groups are now exporting the Third Wave to Micronesia, we want to alert you to their agenda. There are several Third Wave churches on Guam. 

We are called to use discernment today. There are many false teachers who have gone out. Peter said:  "But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves." (2 Peter 2:1)

… Man can choose between good and evil because, though his flesh is sinful, his spirit is good.

… God lost control of the world to Satan through Adam's sin but the "kingdoms" of this world can be conquered again through certain men and women who submit themselves to the authority of the new apostles and prophets. 

… Those who are "anointed" in the Third Wave have already received their glorified bodies and will become gods in their own right.

… Christ does not need to return bodily as He will return in His church because the church has everything that Christ is and has.

… A new form of Christianity is coming that will change everything we have known about Christianity. Many of these things are not talked about in the Bible.

… The wicked will be raptured, not the church.

… Christians cannot be deceived by the enemy.

… Christ's second coming will be "within us" as Christians.
Joel's Army will control the earth and subdue it before Christ comes back "in" His church.

… The Scriptures are important, but direct revelation is just as authoritative as Scripture. 

… Preaching of the Word in church is not totally necessary.
… Signs and wonders must

accompany the proclamation of the gospel in our time.

… "Tongues" can be used without interpretation.

… The filling of the Spirit is transferable by human hands to other people.

… There will be a great revival and spiritual awakening worldwide before Christ returns in His church. The church must be perfected in order for Christ to return.

… The Holy Spirit can be invoked, summoned, prayed to, commanded, and pressed into people's foreheads.

… A supernatural force called "faith" can be used by anyone to produce miracles.

… Christians who are not healthy or wealthy do not have enough faith.

… A modern day "prophet" can be wrong and still be considered a true prophet of God.

… The proof that God is at work in the Third Wave is the experiences they have had being "slain in the spirit".

… Jesus went to hell when He died and was tortured by Satan there.

… Jesus' physical death on the cross did not purchase our salvation.

… To be saved we merely have to say the name "Jesus", repent and get the "anointing".

Practices of the Third Wave

… "Slain in the spirit" that is brought about by the laying on of hands. People "slain" fall backwards into a trance then many times begin  to laugh, act like drunks, shake, scream, make animal noises or vomit.
… To receive the "anointing" you should "empty your mind" and "stop analyzing"
… To receive the "anointing" you should stop praying.
… Religious icons are used in worship.
… Spiritual warfare is done by the use of certain techniques that resemble witchcraft.
… Intercessory prayer should be done in unknown "prayer languages" and requests should not be made of God.
