image that's in Him...." (Kenneth Copeland, The Image of God in You III, side 2.)
Comment: This contradicts what he previously attributed to the prophets. What does the Bible say? "Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever." Heb. 13:8.
Copeland On Believers
"As a born-again believer, you are equipped with the Word. You have the power of God at your disposal. By getting the Word deep into your spirit and speaking it boldly out your mouth, you release spiritual power to change things in the natural circumstances. (Kenneth Copeland, The Power of the Tongue, 15.)
"Jesus is no longer the only begotten Son of God. (Kenneth Copeland, Now We Are In Christ Jesus, 1980, p24)
Comment: Really? What does the Bible say? All one has to do is look up the word for "sons" to see that the word "son" as applied to Jesus is completely different than the one for us as children. We are called "sons" by adoption through His work. He is a Son by nature, never changing. "Only begotten" means unique, ONE of a KIND. But Copeland says this is not so. How many biblical meanings can one man change?
Every Christian is a god. … "You don't have a God in you; you are one," (Kenneth Copeland, The Force of Love (Fort Worth: Kenneth Copeland Ministries, 1987, audiotape #02-0028), side 1.)
"Am I a god? Man was created in the god class, was not created in the animal class, it was the gods class. He has a uniqueness about him that even angels do not have...Now Peter said by exceeding great and precious promises, you become partakers of the divine nature. Alright, are we gods? We are a class of gods." (Kenneth Copeland,

Praise the Lord, TBN, 2/5/1986) When I read in the Bible where He says I AM, I just smile and say, 'Yes, I AM too.'" (Kenneth Copeland, Believer's Voice of Victory Broadcast, 7/9/1987)
Comment: Copeland takes the sacred Name given to Moses at the burning bush and applies it to himself. This is blasphemy! We are not Gods unless we want to confess that we are false ones. Jeremiah 17 says the gods that have not made the heavens and the earth will perish. Say goodnight, Mr. Copeland!
Well, friends, after reading just some of the quotes one may wonder: Who does this man think he is? The answer is: a "God" by the testimony of his own lips and his practices.
Copeland On Money
Kenneth Copeland writes,
"Do you want a hundredfold return on your money? Give and let God multiply it back to you. He urges his supporters, "Invest heavily in God; the returns are staggering, ... "Every man who invests in the Gospel has a right to expect the staggering return of one hundredfold." (Kenneth Copeland, Laws of Prosperity , pg.67)
His teaching is that one can tithe their way out of a situation and it has worked so well that many have adopted the scheme. But none are so bold as to lead the congregation in an affirmation:
"...We're gonna be Word people and we're gonna stay Word people and we're gonna be wealthy Word people in the things of God, and when you're wealthy ng in God you're content all the time, all the time. I can do with a dollar and a half than people out there can do with ten thousand dollars. Now you believe that? All right, reach out here like there's a big ol' lever stickin' up there in front and git ahold of it, and I mean you git it in your hand. You got your teeth gritted, you got a

good grip on it? Rip it down some more. And say this ... money come out to me now! (Audience shouting with Copeland.) Money come out to me now! Third time ... money come out to me now! Now you shout about it. (Kenneth Copeland, Dec.4, 1999 Voice of Victory telecast)
Everyone on this program applauded because they confessed that money would be attracted to them.
Copeland On Faith
"As a born-again believer, you are equipped with the Word. You have the power of God at your disposal. By getting the Word deep into your spirit and speaking it boldly out your mouth, you release spiritual power to change things in the natural circumstances. (Kenneth Copeland, The Power of the Tongue, 15.)
"As a believer, you have a right to make commands in the name of Jesus. Each time you stand on the Word, you are commanding God to a certain extent because it is His Word." (Kenneth Copeland, Our Covenant with God [Fort Worth, TX: KCP Publications, 1987], 32.)
Kenneth Copeland had "revelation knowledge" and said:
"The Spirit of God spoke to me and He said, 'Son, realize this. Now follow me in this and don't let your tradition trip you up.' He said, 'Think this way--a twice-born man whipped Satan in his own domain.' And I threw my Bible down…like that. I said, 'What?' He said, 'A born-again man defeated Satan, the firstborn of many brethren defeated him.' He said, 'You are the very image, the very copy of that one.' I said, 'Well now you don't mean, you couldn't dare mean, that I could have done the same thing?' He said, 'Oh yeah, if you'd had the knowledge of the Word of God that He did, you could've. He said, 'Oh yeah,

if you'd had the knowledge of the Word of God that He did, you could've done the same thing, 'cause you're a reborn man too." (Kenneth Copeland, Substitution and Identification (Kenneth Copeland Ministries, 1989), tape #00-0202, side 2.)
Comment: Knowledge of the Word means Copeland could do exactly what Jesus did, even obtaining for us the atonement which he believes happened in hell. Incredible! Is this really the Spirit of God speaking?
"God used words when He created the heaven and the earth....Each time God spoke, He released His faith -- the creative power to bring His words to pass." (Kenneth Copeland, The Power of the Tongue (Fort Worth: KCP Publications, 1980), 4.)
"You can stop the force of it and cause it to be feeble even though its the very faith of Jesus Himself. The very faith that God used when He created, and what we read there in the first 2 chapters of Genesis, is the faith that's burning in your spirit...Well, He created all those planets, how come you can't create something? You don't know as much about it as He does. He has a greater working knowledge of that faith than you do. But we're learning. Our time is coming. And in some ways its already here." (Kenneth Copeland, Aug 18, 1999, John Hagees church TBN)
Comment: Notice Copeland actually admits that they are only learning and this is why they are unable to create like God ( Rom. 4:17 is not a reality?) even though he's been teaching on this as a present reality for years. Again, according to Copeland the only difference between you and God is that he has a working knowledge of things now. The comment "Our time is coming" is ominous. To think some soon will have God-like powers to create reality is not a comforting thought.
