Christians are gods: "Christians are little messiahs. Christians are little gods." (Benny Hinn, Praise-a-thon (TBN), recorded November 1990) "Are you ready for some real revelation knowledge … you are god." (Benny Hinn, "Our Position In Christ:, tape #A031190-1)
Christians are equal with Jesus: "Don't tell me you have Jesus. You ARE everything He was, and everything He is and shall be." (Benny Hinn, TBN, audio available)
Hinn is a medium and spiritist: "I felt a terrific anointing…I was shaking all over…trembling under the power of God…'Dear God,' I said 'I feel the anointing.'…I believe the anointing has lingered over Aimee's (Aimee Semple Mcpherson's deceased) body." (Benny Hinn, April 7, 1991 sermon)
Hinn uses necromancy: "At least fifty to seventy of them were sitting in a group, and they were saying to me, 'Pray! Ask God to give you a healing ministry that will touch the world!' And suddenly I heard (deceased) Kathryn's voice, [Hinn snaps fingers] and out of the blue, suddenly there--there she was, it's crystal clear. And she in her beautiful smile, the way she said, 'Ask! We're waiting for you to ask! We're praying with you to ask!' And the vision disappeared." (Benny Hinn, Honolulu Crusade, February 28, 1997. Transcript of Hinn's comments made by Mike Oppenheimer, Let Us Reason Ministries. Audio tape and transcript on file.)
Jesus became one with Satan: "Jesus at His death became one with Satan." (Benny Hinn, Benny Hinn broadcast, recorded 12/15/90)
Hinn mocked the grace of Jesus Christ: Benny Hinn says that Christians confessing they are "a sinner saved by grace" only insult God with such "garbage" (The Toronto Blessing, Stephen Sizer, 1990)

Being poor is Satanic: "When you don't give money, it shows that you have the devil's nature." (Benny Hinn, Praise-a-thon (TBN), recorded 4/21/91) "Poverty is from the devil and God wants all Christians prosperous." (Benny Hinn, TBN, 11/6/90)
Hinn uses curses against Christians: "If you have attacked me, your children will pay for it." (Benny Hinn, TBN "Heresy Hunters" October 23, 1992) Hinn said he wished he had a "Holy Ghost machine gun" to kill "Heresy Hunters". (Benny Hinn, Praise-a-thon (TBN), 11/8/90)
Hinn has a false testimony: Hinnv claims that his "father was

Spirit." (E.mail, Ed Tarkowski, Fri. 11 Jul. 1997) "God sent Jesus as an example to see if we could retain and maintain the Holy Spirit in human flesh." (Benny Hinn, as observed by Ed Tarkowski, Wed. 23 Jul. 1997)
Hinn falsely claims a man was raised from the dead: "I was in Ghana just recently … a man was raised from the dead on the platform … we have it on video." (Benny Hinn on the Rod Parsley show, TBN, 1998) When CNN "IMPACT" asked Hinn about the resurrection claim, he backtracked from his original story. "God can raise the dead, Absolutely. I have not seen it. In that one case we did hear about it." IMPACT reports that they were able to find out that the video camera was actually not working that night so there was never video to prove this false claim.
Hinn is a false prophet: "The Lord also tells me to tell you in the mid-nineties, about '94 or '95, no later than that, God will destroy the homosexual community of America." (Benny Hinn, Dec. 31, 1989, Orlando Christian Center (now known as World Outreach Center).
Conclusion
Benny Hinn is a false teacher, a false prophet and a spiritist.

the mayor of Jaffa, Israel." Hinn later acknowledged that his father did not have the title of mayor, but says he performed the functions of a mayor. R. Fisher in "A History Lesson For Benny Hinn", Quarterly Journal, Oct. - Dec. 1992 says Hinn's father, who is now deceased, was "a clerk in an Arab labor office". (Christianity Today, Oct. 5, 1992)
God needs permission from Hinn to work: "… the anointing is dependant upon my words. God will not move unless I say it. Why? Because He has made us coworkers with Him. He set things up that way." (Benny Hinn, The Anointing, Nashville: Thomas Neslon, 1992, p. 82)
The Holy Spirit is a substance: "… when we breathe out we breathe ourselves out and when we breathe in we breathe in the

But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Peter 2:1
