Muller's God Is Still Alive cont.

"One day we were feeding the Texas Baptist Men's volunteers who were working on our building. We were totally out of dessert. We could not find so much as a cookie on the premises for these men to have with their meal. I jokingly said, 'Let's see what the Lord has for dessert.'  Just at that moment a man walked in with a case of 'Little Debbie Cakes'.
"At a staff meeting we were planning the Thanksgiving meal for 300 people with our volunteer cook. She gave me an invoice for the purchase of turkeys she had ordered. I told her we would not need to buy the turkeys because God would supply them. She had no sooner warned me how bad she would need the turkeys on time when a man burst in the door with two turkeys and a naïve grin and said, 'Could you use some turkeys?'
"Our copier quit completely and after much frustration with it we decided to purchase the cheapest one we could find … Diana hung up the phone and gave me the price of $299.00. I reluctantly nodded my head when the phone rang and a

church had bought a bigger copier and wanted to give us the one they had been using. It has just been serviced for 33,000 more copies.
"I could go on for page after page. In fact I want to put it into a book someday. Maybe the title could be 'The God of George Muller Is Still Alive Today!'  Citychurch has as its legacy operating by faith. I feel as long as we all keep our focus on the ministry God has called us to, He will provide. After all, the greatest miracle is the over 350 children and adults who have been saved and led to Jesus in the past three years."

dumpsters to build our building. One day a couple showed up with a wheat truck full of 2x4's, new doors, and needed tools. Our first truck of food came from Bob and Bea Dunston of Life Challenge. The first inclination we had was to hold onto it for our family. I believe that day our course was set, because instead of hoarding we went into the neighborhoods and gave everything away. Since that time hundreds of truck loads of food have been given to us. The latest was some 44,000 lbs. of hamburger and sausage.
"God loves and supplies in great multitude and in the miniscule. This last summer after attempting to feed all the children who were calling begging for food, we started CityKid Café. On the first day of feeding kids a man came by and gave us a truck load of Bluebell ice cream. Later in the summer we ran out of Kool Aid in the middle of a meal where we were feeding 300 children. Just as we discovered the need a couple walked in with two cases of Kool Aid. God has gone on to provide every day for the food we feed children. We have never spent money on reaching children that God did not give back and many times over in the same day. Many are the examples of God's miraculous timing:
"We needed $3000.00 to pay a

lumber bill on that day. A man walked in and said, "I'm going to do something I used to hate that people did when I was a church treasurer … I'm going to designate $3000.00 and I want it to go for building materials.
"We were bagging groceries for 50 families and ran out of bags 10 minutes before the families would arrive. Just at that moment a little lady walked in holding two bags full of bags and asked, 'Does anyone here need bags?'
"Last summer we took 80 children to camp. Outside of a few children none had any bedding, clothes, underwear, etc. I pulled $200.00 from my pocket and gave it to our secretary and told her to buy as many pillows with it as she could. We left for camp. As we pulled into the gate of the camp a woman who had driven from town followed us in and when we stopped she breathlessly handed me an envelope with $200.00 in it and declared, 'The Lord told me to come and give this to you!'
"We were vacuuming the floors trying to get ready for a service and our vacuum cleaner quit. We were on the phone trying to locate parts when a man walked in and gave us two totally rebuilt vacuums with extra belts and bags.
