Youth Group Rules by EGAD! Youth Group Ideas

This is a suggestion for a set of rules for your youth group. You can copy them and use them however you want.

---

To make sure that our Youth Group meetings are enjoyable, safe, and pleasing to God, the following rules will be enforced during all youth meetings and activities and while traveling to or from an activity:

1.
Show Love For Others At All Times

This means that we don't put others down, make fun of people (including strangers or those who aren't with us), hurt or pick on others. Put the rights and needs of others ahead of your own. Love your neighbor as much as you love yourself. (Matthew 22:39)

2.
Let Others See Jesus Through You

As a member of this youth group you are representing the Lord, our church, and this youth group to the rest of the world. To be a positive witness for Jesus, we must not do things that will make God or us

practice all you learned from Christ and saw Him doing, and the God of peace will be with you. (Philippians 4:18)

7.
Love One Another, But Be Careful how You Show It

As fellow members of God's family, there will be times when you will share hugs with your Christian brothers and sisters. If you have a boyfriend or girlfriend, you are encouraged to invite him/her to youth. Some displays of affection can, however, make others uncomfortable, so please limit this to what is appropriate for your youth group and culture.

8.
Keep A Positive Attitude

To have fun you must be fun and be willing to participate in all we do. The fastest way to destroy a youth meeting is to whine, complain, or refuse to take part (this is also a good way to be put in charge of planning the next youth meeting). A cheerful heart does good like medicine, but a broken spirit makes one sick. (Proverbs 17:22).
